Welcome

Welcome to Thieves and Liars, the newest Hanfic awards site. The first round last fall was really successful, so I decided to run the awards again, making it a twice yearly thing. The goal here is pretty obvious and straightforward -- to give awards to the best and most loved Hanfic stories on the web. Obviously this isn't a terribly original concept, but it's always fun. As with any award site, this one won't work without fan input, so please nominate and vote for your favorites. Who knows, you might just win something!

• April 23, 2010 Voting is now closed, and because I'm an overachiever the awards are already done up. So check out the winners page to see if you placed. Congratulations to everyone who won, and to everyone who was nominated. I also want to thank everyone who helped me rein this thing in, even when I thought it was going to be a total clusterfuck. You guys know who you are and you're all awesome. Once again, congrats and thanks for being part of the awards!
• April 15, 2010 Regular voting is now over. Please go to the voting page to cast your vote in the tiebreaker round. When you're there, you can read an explanation of how this round will work.
• April 2, 2010 Time to vote! The nominees are posted and I have to say, there's been a great turn-out this year. Voting is open too, so get your vote in as soon as possible!
• March 13, 2010 Nominations have officially been open for two days and already I've received a ton. Keep 'em coming, guys!
• February 15, 2010 The site has been moved from odd-notions.net to placetohide.net. Sorry if that's a bit confusing to anyone visiting the original site. The Spring version is up, and nominations open in a few weeks.
