When Taylor wakes up the morning after the Apocalypse was supposed to happen, he realizes what a grave miscalculation he's made. He's spent most of his life preparing for The End, but now he's out of cash, out of hope, and for the first time out of ideas. Reluctantly, Taylor heads home to Providence, North Carolina with only one goal in mind: to accomplish what the Apocalypse couldn't. Mixer’s Note: I really enjoyed getting to read this story, and mixing it was a great challenge. For the theme, I guess I mostly tried to get inside Taylor’s head a bit and focus on his main fixations. Each song has a little something of the way I imagine he looks at the world. :)
