Like it’s predecessor, More Than A Feeling is fairly short and written in “phases” rather than chapters. It’s a distinction without a difference, but whatever you call them, Morgan packs a lot of action and emotion into them.
The story begins some time in the future, with a brief summary of what followed the first story’s abrupt ending. It’s a little confusing and disorienting to try to catch up with where Michele and the boys are now that time has passed and Michele has been in Atlanta for six months. There is an awkwardly placed flashback that fills in the gaps, but it sticks out like a sore thumb.
Soon enough, Michele’s back in Tulsa and that explosive sexual chemistry she and Taylor had is back in the picture, too. There’s suddenly a sexual tension with Zac, too, though, which results in some pretty hot scenes — a few of which Taylor is present for. It never delves into that territory, but it gets dangerously close at times.
That’s a pretty good way to describe the entire story, in fact. Chapter after chapter, Michele and Zac’s sexual tension grows, until they finally give in to it… or, at least, try to. Repeatedly. There are all manner of interruptions before they finally reach their happy ending, but I have a feeling (since there is a third story), that it’s not happily ever after, just happily enough for now.
