This isn’t a traditional story like I prefer to review here; instead, it’s a series of oneshots that don’t connect to one another at all. To be more specific–erotica oneshots. These are the specialty of Olivia, and you wouldn’t know it was Crystal’s first time trying out a few of these storylines.
Each story stands entirely on its own, a self contained tale modeled (sometimes more loosely than others) on one of the seven deadly sins. That may sound a bit dark, but quite a few of the stories have comedic endings; Gluttony is one of my favorites for its final line.
Because each of these stories stands alone, there’s something for everyone. The forays into BDSM–Pride and Lust–are some of my favorites; while not necessarily portraying a healthy BDSM relationship, they do use the kink in ways that I really enjoy. Envy was a surprise favorite for me as well, since it contains an Isaac/OFC pairing–not something I would have expected to like.
The only complaint I can make here, I suppose, is that I would like to see a few more from some of these story universes. A little editing here and there to fix some tense shifts would only make the stories even more perfect. They may not all be to everyone’s tastes, but if you enjoy erotica, especially with a little humor and a lot of kink, I think you’ll find something to enjoy in Seven Deadly Sins.
