Length 47 chapters and epilogue
Status Completed (first in a series of three stories)
Three Minds As One is probably the first gen story I have read as it has no romantic pairings at all but that really isn’t why I chose to read it, I chose for the supernatural element of the story, in the fact that the Hanson’s have psychic abilities and can do stuff with their minds.
While the general plot is okay, I really like the idea of Hanson with supernatural powers and I like the idea of them getting kidnapped because of it because really, who doesn’t like a little bit of drama? But the rest of the story seems to lack.
I’m not sure how old Monica was when she wrote this but maybe it could have been a bit better written years later but then again that would probably take away the nostalgic feeling of reading a older story.
I do feel like Monica cut out a ton of big plot points as sometimes I was confused at what was happening and I’m not sure how I felt about the villains all having a moment of change, at least one of them probably should have stayed bad.
But I have to say I will probably read the three sequels at some point and hopefully maybe Monica improved along the way with the things that were lacking here.
