Color of Love is the first Hanson story I have read where the main issue in it is Interracial dating and really who better than to try their hand at it then Rebekah. She has touched on another main issue before of sexual abuse so I had faith she could pull off Color of Love and not leave me unsatisfied and I was right.
Rebekah handled Zac and Hope’s love story as well as the issues that went along with it well. I think one of the huge shockers for me was that Diana was the main thorn in their side from Zac’s family because usually in every story involving Diana she is the sweet one while Walker is the one who tends to be on the harsher side so I really liked the change. Hope’s family most of them were all against it until Hope stood up to them which was a good moment in my book. I do kind of wish though that Rebekah had shown more moments with Hope’s family members besides just her brother.
I don’t normally like fluffy stories but I feel this had just the right amount of fluff though and the right amount of drama though the last main hurdle at the end I wish didn’t happen but I think it added on to prove just how much Hope and Zac love each other and I was satisfied that in the end their love won through all the obstacles they had to endure.
I just wish Rebekah had written longer chapters so I could have more of Zac and Hope because I really think I came to love them way too much.
