On The Road is written by Sarah Todd. While the character development was a little weak, the way the story flowed made up for it. There is never a dull moment in the story, and the author does a wonderful job at keeping a decent pace within the story. You never feel a lull between the characters, and you are always guessing what is happening. The love tug-o-war, and the feelings of a lost love is starting to develop in this story. The character Zac, does a good deed and ends up falling in love with the character Kaitlyn, only to have met her drummer idol through Zac’s wife, Kate.
There is a major love-interest shift that is part of a plot twist, and just as the reader is getting deeply invested in the characters, the story stops because it hasn’t been updated since 2013. I personally have contacted the author and told her how much I loved the story and would love to read an ending, and I was told that she was having a writers block.
Here’s to hoping that she is somehow inspired to finish this fan fiction. I’m dying to know what ends up happening!
