Kindred Twelve The Family is the last installment for the foreseeable future of Aimster’s series Kindred and to be honest I wish it wasn’t. I wish there more after this though I do think she has a prequel planned at some point but while a prequel is nice it’s not the same lol.
But this story even being the last for now didn’t disappoint at all. There was a twist with Carey, Mark, and Taylor that I didn’t see coming at all and it almost made me want to reread it for all the clues I had missed leading it up to it.
It also had Walker in it more and I think I am still semi neutral feelings wise on their parents which I guess is a good thing.
I do wish though that there had been more just a bit more to this since it was the last for now because there is a few dangling plot lines then again I guess there have to be if Aimster plans on picking this back up at some point down the road.
All in all I guess it was an okay ending given the dangling plot lines and the semi not so happy endings for some characters or really maybe just Mark who slowly grew on me especially in this installment.
