Beneath My Skin is the first Hanson/Supernatural crossover I have read and I must say I don’t think anyone else could have done it as well as Aimster did.
It was a nice short read that centered around a mystery on why Hanson fans kept literally falling dead after Hanson events thus the mysterious deaths warranted a visit from the Winchester brothers.
Aimster did wonderful in merging the two worlds especially with how Dean handled dealing with the Hanson’s brother and Sam having to clue him into fandom things. It was just amusing to me and felt very real since I think Hanson probably isn’t Dean’s cup of tea music wise so he probably would really be a clueless idiot.
As the mystery began to be pieced together I liked how Aimster handled how Hanson was involved and how the explanation was done so that Hanson weren’t villains though sometimes some of their actions could be in the between scale of black and white.
Overall I think my only compliant was there wasn’t enough Zac but the last scene with Hanson there was a tiny Zac/Sam scene that I liked and almost wished there had been more to this fic just to see them interact more.
