Aimster once again has provided another story in the Kindred series. This one again another prequel to the main stories and like all the others I read this one right away because I may just love this series. There’s always so much to learn and more questions to be asked and that’s my kind of story.
This story sure did answer some questions while also creating new ones. Which makes me hope there may at least be one more prequel… maybe.
Keandre and the twins were major players in this one as was Jesse to an extent and I loved that. But I kind of also wished there had been more Alex and Colin or maybe just more Alex as he was one of my top faves in the clones. Though with this story I think Keandre can finally be added to the list of my ever changing top faves.
His backstory was revealed a bit more and it made so much sense even if I didn’t really see it coming either. Same with the ending for Jesse in this fic that shows his connection to the labs and Damien started way before the others even seemed to know.
It was just a nice pay off in my opinion, especially when I remember later stories and all the what seemed like animosity between Jesse and Damien.
So over all I don’t think I’m ever going to regret reading this series or each new fic in it as soon as it’s being posted.
