So I read this after asking a friend for a Zaylor story. I almost wish I had a warning of just how heartbreaking some of the chapters would be.
The main gist is Taylor is now left alone after the death of Zac. You know that right from the prologue when you encounter an angry Taylor. He just seems to be pissed at the world and you can feel it with his words.
In the first chapter, I really love how the author plays in a past glimpse that shows how Taylor was the only one who knew at first that something was even wrong with Zac because he used to listen to Zac’s heartbeat, something he has done since Zac was a baby.
It’s the past glimpses though that did me in. Seeing how Taylor loses it when Zac signs a DNR and a close call that almost takes Zac after that, where Taylor saves him by recounting their shared relationship.
This is definitely a must read for any Zaylor fan, just have the tissues handy first, okay.
