I have to say I chose to read this story mainly because I know I will like whatever the author writes. She is one of my favorite hanfic writers and the fact that she does AU stories is a bonus.

This story being set in a college setting was good because I haven’t read a hanfic like that before. I also loved that it was set in Virginia where I am from and I can say the author did pretty good with the facts.

I could also connect with Toria the main OFC in this. I’m not sure if it was because she reminded me of myself or not. I mean she is from Virginia and likes to act. So yeah I guess I am bound to like her right now.

Toria though is stubborn, especially when it comes to love. So stubborn that she gets torn between two guys. An OMC named Donovan who was written as someone you could easily dislike and then Zac who I must say I want my own version of. He is the perfect mix between loveable and irritating at the same time.

I was happy though with the conclusion of the triangle and who Toria chose. I just hated that there was one last hurdle before the final few chapters but then again I guess it had to happen eventually.

If I am being honest though my favorite part of the story was the sub plot about Taylor being gay. I just have a weakness for subplots that involve topics that are still very debatable in this day and age. It makes the story even more believable. I really hope the author does the planned prequel she has on her Coming Soon page because it is about the Taylor subplot in a way.

If you are fan of AU Hanson’s stories then I would recommend this.
