As promised, I’m continuing to add new stuff with each new month. Here’s the lowdown on this month.

I mentioned this in my last post, but I wanted to explain it a little further. Because I’ve come and gone from hanfic a bit through the years, there are a lot of classic stories that I haven’t read. Back in late 2000, when I joined the fandom, I didn’t enjoy long stories and mostly avoided them. Then I left hanfic from 2004 to 2009. While I’ve caught up on a lot of the fic I’ve missed, there’s a still a ton of stories I want to read.

So, why not challenge myself to read them all and get my reviews section up to snuff all at once? I like killing two birds with one stone.

The plan is to read six stories a month — one from each era — for the foreseeable future. I don’t know if I’ll stop when the new album comes out or keep going for a full year. We’ll see. The first reviews, for my September stories, have now been posted. I hope, in the future, to be able to post the new reviews on or around the 15th of each month. We’ll see.

Of course, I don’t just want my reviews. Amber is reading a few old stories too, and anyone else who is interested in reviewing stories is more than welcome to do so. There are some guidelines on the index of the reviews section, so go check those out and read my reviews.
