Timeline
The purpose of this timeline is two-fold. First, it provides a pretty detailed history of the big events in hanfic. Timeframes for awards and challenges are listed, along with opening dates for popular websites and publication dates for popular stories. Second, it puts all of that into context with some of the big events in Hanson’s career and personal lives.
Dates are as accurate as I could get them from looking at the websites in question and researching Hanson’s history.
