I’m ashamed to look at my last few posts and see that they all relate to the beginning of 2019 and the big plans I had for PTH then.

As last year began, I was just beginning to face the fact that my health issues weren’t something easily fixable, but were in fact something chronic I would be stuck dealing with. It made me feel depressed and unlovable, but within just a few months I was proven wrong about the latter.

All of that took up a lot of my time, as did some big changes at work, and as all my readers can see… hanfic had to take a backseat to dealing with my real life. I guess that’s just the sort of thing that happens when you’ve been running the same website for an entire decade. Bethany at 22 was very different from Bethany at 32.

What does 2020 bring for this site? It’s tough to say. One thing I can guarantee is that it will remain open. I have no intentions whatsoever to abandon it or hanfic entirely. But I obviously also can’t guarantee how often I will update.

That said, I have updated the trivia and timeline, and I have updates planned next for the directory and a few of my fics. So keep your eyes peeled for all of that!
