You guys know what today is, right? It’s the beginning of a brand new month, which means two things here at PTH — new monthly spotlights and new monthly content. The content for this month is big, so this is going to be a long post.

First, the spotlights! Featured this month are:

So, this has been in the works since December, and it’s finally done! I’ve totally overhauled the directory, with a brand new layout and around 400+ new links. Here’s a quick rundown of everything that this overhaul includes:

• A brand new layout with more contrast between background and links so things are easier to read
• Each letter now has its own page so that the pages aren’t a mile long
• About 400+ new and updated links
• Tons of broken links removed or updated
• Mislabeled links corrected, with new titles and warnings

Most of these links are pretty old, but there are a few newer ones. I also took note of how many non-American sites there were, as I find it really fascinating to see just how international this fandom is. With this update, there are now links from all the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Russia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. You’ll notice that not all of these are labeled; I only include the country label for sites that aren’t in English. Still, isn’t this an amazing United Nations of Fansons?

That’s a nice note to end this post on, I think. January has been pretty stressful, with so much to work on, but I think I’ll get to relax a bit in February. Check back in about two weeks for my new monthly reviews!
