January Reviews
I feel like I’ve updated this blog a billion times this month! Okay, I know this is really only the third blog, but it still feels like a lot, especially when you consider that I used to let whole months go by with no blog at all. That radio silence is a thing of the past, though!
So, today’s blog is all about the reviews for this month. They are as follows:
- Your Own Kind by Myra
- Falling and Farther In by Sarah
- On My Own by Akimbie
- Drunk by Nicky
- Caution: Wreckage by Alie
- Suitcases and Songs by Diamond
No real changes there from my plan, I don’t believe. I have to say, I really enjoyed quite a few of these stories. There hasn’t been a month yet when I didn’t add at least one story to my favorites, though.
So, what’s on the menu for next month? The following stories:
- Hit So Hard by Lisa
- Listen To Your Heart, Don’t Look Back In Anger and Hanging By A Moment by Bethany
- The Moffson Tapes by Jenn and Lauryn
- You’re Beautiful by Beth
- Plaything by Jayde and Laura
- Changes by Rebekah
There might be a few changes there from my initial plan, but other than listing the stories as “To Read” on here, I haven’t really shared that plan with anyone. It looks like February is going to be the month of slash — all kinds of slash! So I’m looking forward to that for sure, as I felt like I really haven’t represented slash and cest very well in these reviews so far.
I think that’s just about it for this blog. I’m still working to get the new directory ready for February, but it’s still not looking good. I don’t think any of you would mind if I just post some old story pdfs for you instead, would you?

Oh my gosh, ‘Hit So Hard’! That story has been on my mind for the last little while, and I couldn’t remember the name. It’s a lot shorter then I remember it being.
Glad I could help jog your memory! I think the version I’m going to review is a revised one, so it may be shorter than the original. Don’t quote me on that, though; it’s not one I actually read back in the day.
