Newness!

Newness!

Well, first things first, it’s time for a new layout! I can’t believe the other one had been up since 2014. Where did the time go??? This one is a little fresher, and gets me excited about what this year holds for our fandom. I’m still very anxious for a release date for Middle of Everywhere, because we are more than overdue for a new era. Maybe a greatest hits release isn’t all that new, but I’m ready anyway.

So the layout is here, and the rest of it (hall of fame, etc) is coming soon! In the meantime, please let me know if there are any problems with the site. You may need to clear your cache to get everything to display properly.

Once you’ve done that, check out the new reviews for March, too. I’ve reviewed Unexpected Beautiful by Becky, and Elizabeth has contributed several reviews. You’ll find her reviews of Behind Walls by Cad, If Tomorrow Never Comes by KT and Kindred 8: The Jock by Aimster in the Anthem era, and her review of my story The Stars Have Fallen in the Shout It Out era.

Check back soon for more newness!

Happy March!

Happy March!

You have to get excited about this month as a Hanson fan, don’t you? First of all, it’s Taylor’s birth month. Secondly, it’s (hopefully) going to be tour announcement month this year. I know we’re all reeling from how quickly Hanson Day tickets are selling out, but I for one am still pretty damn excited about it.

But before all of that, it’s time for another spotlight here at PTH! This month, I was able to interview KT, who is semi-new to the scene and the newest addition to my Like Ashes Series. So head over to the spotlights section to learn a bit more about her!

Happy belated Valentine’s Day!

Happy belated Valentine’s Day!

And just in time for the holiday, the monthly reviews are up! This time, I reviewed two This Time Around era stories, The Best Things In Life and The Project by Kayla and Keryn. Elizabeth also contributed a review of Kindred 7: The Sergeant by Aimster which you can find under the Anthem era heading.

Check back in a few weeks for spotlights (I hope) and in a month for more reviews!

A few overdue updates

A few overdue updates

No, it’s not spotlights for February. Nor is it my February reviews, although I promise those will be posted in just a few days.

I have finally, after a bit of procrastinating and rewriting, posted my analysis of my recent hanfic preferences survey. I don’t know if it’s all that interesting to anyone who isn’t as nerdy as me, but in case it is, it’s posted.

I’ve also finally updated the trivia page (link over there in the sidebar) with some new stats, some based on the survey. Some of those may be more interesting than the tropes stuff.

And that’s it for today. Check back later this week for reviews!

First reviews of 2017!

First reviews of 2017!

The reviews are back, and in a pretty big way.

First, I’ve finished reviewing Morgan Andrews’ Petals of Time Series. You can find my reviews of Devastation and Infatuation in the Anthem era.

Elizabeth has also submitted three reviews this month. You’ll find her reviews of Kindred 6: The Street Rat by Aimster and Lost Without Each Other by Harper Jean under the Anthem era, and her review of my fic Untold in the SHout It Out era.

Lastly, because I haven’t annoyed people enough about this yet, my hanfic preferences survey is still running and will be for a little over a week. If you haven’t filled it out yet, head over here now and do it. Results will be posted in February.
